If you have time to wash and dry your fabric(if you're going to wash and dry your garment) before proceeding to pinning and cutting, you should.

Okay, I would just like to review on the few rules of pinning and cutting:

1. Iron your fabric - with steam
2. Iron your pattern -without steam
3. lay out your pattern pieces according to your directions, don't forget the dotted "wrong side" pieces
4. pin parallel and close to your cutting line. Pin on a hard surface, so your pins don't get caught on shit and you don't have to lift the fabric off the surface.
5. cut out your pieces on the cutting line for your size. when you come to diamond markings, cut a notch that mirrors the diamonds out from the cutting line. These notches will allow you to match seams on different pieces.
